VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR SHORT TERM TECHNICAL
CONSULTANT AT YOUTH FOR HEALTH CENTER NGO
ABOUT SKPA-2 PROGRAM
“Youth for Health
Center” (YFHC) is a community based, non-governmental organization that has
been leading community response to HIV in Mongolia for over 20 years. YFHC is
currently a subrecipient (SR) and implementing country partner of
Sustainability of HIV Services for Key Populations in Asia (SKPA)-2 Program.
The SKPA-2 initiative is a three-year, multi-country
grant, funded by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria (GF),
spanning from July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2025. Its overarching goal is to
enhance the sustainability of evidence-informed, prioritized HIV services for
key populations across Bhutan, Mongolia, the Philippines, and Sri Lanka.
One of the core
objectives of SKPA-2 is to accelerate the financial sustainability of HIV
services for key populations. As part of this effort, SKPA-2 has provided
technical support to YFHC in obtaining a license to operate a clinic. The next
critical step is to prepare for accreditation. However, YFHC has limited
experience in managing a registered clinic. Therefore, it is proposed to engage
an experienced and qualified accreditation expert to provide guidance and
support during the early stages of clinic operation.
